We went up to Lane's to join family and prep for the Rodger Squirrel Celebration. It was great to see Alan, Kim, and Aki from Boulder, and Sara and Jason from Las Cruces. Rodger's brother Rick was up from Ventura, with his grown boys, Ben, Joshua and Ryan - what a crew, from California to Colorado! The Celebration at the Lake Forest Park Civic Club was impressive, with the usual cast of friends setting up and decorating, and Sara speaking first. "Who's been to a pig roast", had most hands up. What a great group of friends and family, co-workers, neighbors and artists and consultants. His life touched so many people, and he left a legacy of metal art, and thoughtful memories. There was a lot of laughter and tears, and after a little clean-up some of us went back to Lane's for pizza and stories. Please enjoy these snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me! Thanks all!
